Together we work
To us economic development is not an event, it’s a process and that process begins at birth. It takes the entire community working together to create the opportunities, incentives, abatements, and the workforce to accomplish our mission. We are responsible for marketing all of Selma and Dallas County including the 4 industrial parks and the flight line at Craig Field. The EDA works with local, state, and federal partners as well as local utilities to create a low-cost business-friendly environment, with easy access to major markets. With our high quality of life and low cost of living, we are an attractive place to live, work, and play.
